About JACKBOYS 2, an exclusive album by the American talented musical artists JACKBOYS & Travis Scott, JACKBOYS 2 is the follow-up to December 2019’s compilation album, which was a complete effort from Cactus Jack Records.

On December 3, 2023, while signing merchandise for fans in his car, Travis Scott confirmed JACKBOYS 2 was being worked on in response to a fan’s question.

On June 14, 2024, Travis Scott headlined Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash alongside Cactus Jack and said, “I’m nothing without Sheck Wes, I’m nothing without Don Toliver, I’m nothing without SoFaygo, I’m nothing without Chase B, I’m nothing without my gang members” before stating that they’ve “been thinking about doing a JACKBOYS 2.”

On March 24, 2025, Travis Scott confirmed that JACKBOYS 2 was “on the way” during Chase B’s DJ set at a nightclub in Miami. After releasing “ILMB” with Cactus Jack signee Sheck Wes, Travis performed a headlining set a Coachella, which included the performance of two songs from JACKBOYS 2.

On April 30, 2025, Travis’ 34th birthday, he released one of the songs performed at Coachella via Instagram, which was shortly followed by the release of JACKBOYS 2 merchandise and physicals onto the Travis Scott website. The album’s lead single, “2000 EXCURSION,” would be released on July 8, 2025.

Travis would then announce through social media that the album would be released on July 13, consisting of seventeen tracks.

It was also announced on DailyRapFacts X.com (Twitter) Page that the album will be released tonight been 13th July 2025.
